Stellantis Rally Cup The Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup 2026 will also visit the Rallye Lëtzebuerg
It is a decision that makes perfect sense! Recently confirmed, with one competition reserved for Rally4 cars and another for Rally6, the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup 2026 completes its calendar by adding the Rallye Lëtzebuerg, the flagship event of the season in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, scheduled for Saturday, 11 July.
“The primary idea is to confirm the Belux character of our competition,” explains Jean-François Elst, manager of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup. “With the Rally van Haspengouw, the Ardenne Rally Festival, the Ypres Rally, the East Belgian Rally and the Spa Rally, our competitors will tackle some of the finest stages in Belgium. Across the border, the Rallye Lëtzebuerg is the best-known event in the Grand Duchy, and its route is unanimously appreciated. It therefore seemed logical to include such an event in our calendar, in order to further reinforce our Belux identity. This sixth round is open to crews competing in Opel Corsa, Peugeot 208 and Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally4 cars, as well as Rally6.”
“For ACL Sport, this goes far beyond the simple addition of an extra round,” continues Yves Faber, coordinator of ACL Sport, the Luxembourg motorsport federation. “It embodies a strong vision for motorsport in Luxembourg and the wider Belux region. The objective is to make competition accessible to everyone and to offer enthusiasts – whether beginners, amateurs or aspiring competitors – a genuine opportunity to live their passion within a structured, safe and dynamic framework. The Rally6 category plays a key role here. As a true gateway to motorsport, it offers major advantages for anyone looking to get started… With the Rallye Lëtzebuerg joining the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup, ACL Sport confirms its commitment to reviving accessible and attractive series. This collaboration also strengthens the ties between Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg by offering a coherent, inclusive and forward-looking sporting platform.”
The addition of the Rallye Lëtzebuerg to the 2026 sporting calendar brings another advantage: at the end of the season, the five best results are taken into account to establish the final overall standings. This Luxembourg round will therefore give those who might miss the opening round of the competition at the end of February, during the Rally van Haspengouw, a better chance to still collect the maximum five possible results. A step towards greater sporting fairness.
All the ingredients of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup Belux 2026 are now known, and as the new year has barely begun, teams, drivers and co-drivers are already hard at work ahead of a start that will take place on the traditionally tricky stages of the Hesbaye region. The date is set!
