Stellantis Rally Cup The battle for the titles continues in Saint-Vith!
It is time for the competitors in the 2026 Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup to get back into action! Several long weeks after the Rallye Lëtzebuerg, the East Belgian Rally will serve as the penultimate round of the season. In Saint-Vith, the battle for the Rally4 and Rally6 titles will continue and is likely to become even more intense…
Having taken advantage of Lander Depotter’s (Opel Corsa Rally4) absence from the Luxembourg stages, Corentin Fiasse (Peugeot 208 Rally4) has moved to the top of the provisional standings. His lead now stands at 10 points… but he has one more score to his name than his young Dutch-speaking rival. The good news is that both title contenders will be competing in the east of the country, meaning their duel can continue on a natural rally course traditionally appreciated by all drivers.
If there is one young driver eager to shine at the East Belgian Rally, it is Sergio Plattes (Peugeot 208 Rally4)! The Saint-Vith local will indeed be competing on home ground, on stages he obviously knows particularly well. His progress since the start of the season has been impressive, as once again confirmed by his times on the Rallye Lëtzebuerg. Depotter and Fiasse will therefore have to keep a close eye on the local hero.
Currently fourth in the provisional standings, Steven Spittaels (Peugeot 208 Rally4) will also be on the start line, as will Manuel Merlevede (Opel Corsa Rally4), sixth in the rankings, along with Corentin Dozot (Peugeot 208 Rally4) and Lény Cols (Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally4), the latter two determined to finally get their points tally off the mark.
In the Rally6 category, the duel between the two RACB National Team youngsters, Nolann Lejeune and Emilien Allart, will also continue. The yellow Opel Corsa Rally6 cars will once again be in the spotlight. While Lejeune currently leads the standings with 102 points to Allart’s 90, the latter has one fewer result to count. It should also be noted that the two young drivers are battling for the Junior BRC title as well!
Benoit Wauthier (Peugeot 208 Rally6) will also be back in action, with the aim of improving on his current sixth place in the provisional standings and closing the gap to the top four.
There will therefore be no shortage of stakes among the competitors in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup, which will once again deliver exciting racing within the race.
